Bird Watching at Howland Island 04/12/2013

We enjoyed the ride to the Montezuma Audubon Center. We joined 8 others who were also going on the nature hike. Our guide, Chris Lajewski was so friendly and welcoming. He offered loaner binoculars to anyone who needed a pair. We all used the rest room and looked around in the gift shop and in the glass terrariums at the turtles. There were two telescoping lens pointing to a Horned Owl nest in the forest off in the distance. It was fun trying to find it.There's a lot of fun activities for nature lovers at Howland Island Wildlife Management
